ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

Ant’Box, a collaborative electronic document management (EDM) platform, lets users save files and easily retrieve relevant information without the hassle of organizing the files.

Technology

Compared with competing solutions, ANT’Inno’s EDM platform stands out for its user-friendliness and relevance of search results.

Documents—regardless of media or language— are simply saved to the platform: users do not need to organize the files. There is zero risk of error, and information cannot be lost. To retrieve documents, users can search in any of five supported languages (French, English, German, Spanish, Arabic). Search results appear by relevance based on syntactic links between the words from the original query, synonyms, and translations from any of the five supported languages. ANT’inno’s technology is based on List’s linguistic analysis engine, LIMA. A licensing agreement with List allows ANT’Inno to use LIMA in its software. Since 2012, a series of R&D agreements with List and participation in several collaborative R&D projects funded by the EU and France’s National Research Agency (ANR) have led to further improvements to the software.

The company’s customers include Eurocopter, IRSN, the CEA, and several French government ministries and foreign government agencies. Exports account for 20 % of the company’s annual revenue.
