A microtubule stabilizer, epothilone D has anti-psychotropic properties



The results obtained by the Pathophysiology of Cytoskeleton Groupat our institute show that epothilone D (a drug that stabilizes microtubules, CEA/Inserm patent​), is able to restore synaptic function impaired in mice deficient in STOP protein, and has dramatic beneficial effects on their behavior.​
