The ISO 9001 certification of the Exploring the Dynamics of Proteomes laboratory in July 2009 was the culmination of a project initiated in 2004 involving all members of this laboratory.
This reflection on a quality approach stemmed from a need to increase traceability when handling the large volumes of data generated by the proteomics analyses performed in the laboratory. ISO 9001 certification should improve the laboratory's performances, while also ensuring that each member of staff has a clear idea of their position. This reveals quality to be both a necessity and an opportunity, helping to improve the research performed in the laboratory.
The ISO 9001 norm guarantees control points at various levels (control of raw materials, skills management, etc.), providing our collaborators with the benefit of our expertise and continued improvement to our activities.
CEA is a French government-funded technological research organisation in four main areas: low-carbon energies, defense and security, information technologies and health technologies.
