Emerging role of bone morphogenetic proteins in angiogenesis

​T​​he team led by Sabine Bailly at the Cancer Biology and Infection laboratory has published a review in the journal Cytokine and Growth Factor Reviews which focuses on the emerging role played by Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMPs) in angiogenesis. BMPs are dimeric proteins of the family of TGFß that were originally purified on the basis of their osteogenic and chondrogenic activity.
