Of the architectural organization of the cytoskeleton to the cell movement

Researchers from the Cell & Plant Physiology laboratory have shown that the production of force generated by the coordinated assembly of actin filaments was responsible for the sh​ape a​​cquisition, for the cell movement etc. These observations were made in real time with the use of an evanescent wave microscopy and the researchers created a mathematical model reflecting the fact that force generation was based on simple and basic physical laws.
