Cell "electrifies" when it divides

By measuring variations in impedance during cell division, researchers at our institute in collaboration with a team of Tohoku University, managed to follow in real time and on a single cell all the phases of mitosis. This work opens up broad prospects for the study of new properties on isolated cells, especially during the cell division of cancer cells or stem cells.
