The
CEA is a public research establishment of a scientific, technical and industrial nature ("établissement public à
caractère industriel et commercial" -EPIC) and a
major actor in research, development and innovation. As with all operational sectors of the CEA, the DSV promotes industrial innovation. It has an active policy of adding value to its skills, equipment and research. With over 20 years of experience in technology transfer, the DSV supports its laboratories to protect and transfer their innovative work in the form of business creation or license transfers. Dedicated teams within the DSV possess the core competencies of technology transfer: industrial property, strategic marketing, business development, engineering and monitoring of contracts.
