This milestone caps off a long list of operations carried out since 2013 by the Tore Supra reactor. Preparations on the machine continue in light of a first experimental campaign scheduled for spring 2017. WEST will enable CEA and its domestic and international partners to validate technology "building blocks" for the ITER project.
