Most of the
CNRGH platforms operate on a high-throughput format. Transfer of the samples from the tubes stored at the Bank Laboratory to the 96-well plates used in production is, of course, automated (several tens of thousands of samples transferred each year). The Bank Laboratory is equipped with 2 Perkin Elmer automated pipetting systems each with 8 independent needles enabling normalization of the samples during each stage of plating and ensuring absolute traceability of the samples thanks to systematic reading of the tube and plate bar codes. Several dozen 96-well plates may be prepared and forwarded to the production teams each week.
