DossierBioinformatics analyses for genomics and metabolism

The genomic data derived from the new sequencing technologies are only of limited interest as such. What is important is the biological knowledge that may be extracted. The principal role of bioinformatics is to assist biologists in that task, in particular by incorporating data from very diverse sources (raw sequencing data, results of in silico analysis tools, data derived from generic or specific databases, omic, i.e. transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic, experimental data).

Projects to which the Laboratory is contributing: "Enzymes in quest of function", "Microme", "Chlorouracil".
