Manager : Bertrand Légeret (IE CNRS)
Our lab is fully equipped for lipid analysis (storage and membrane lipids, lipid polyesters, surface waxes).
Types of analyses

Fatty acid profiles (using GC-MS/FID) and profiles of volatile compounds (using thermal desorption and GC-MS/FID)

Types of lipids analyzed
- Glycerolipids: phospholipids, galactolipids, sulfolipids, mono-, di- and tri-acylglycerols, betaïne lipids
- Fatty acids: common and unusual ones
- Components of cuticular waxes: alkanes, primary and secondary alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, wax esters, etc.
- Monomers of cutin and suberin polyesters: hydroxy fatty acids, epoxy fatty acids, dicarboxylic acids, etc.
- Hydrocarbons : alkanes and alkenes
- Pigments : chlorophylls, carotenoïds.
