Systematic quality control is also conducted for RNA samples. The samples are subjected to quantification and bioanalyzer chip migration in order to estimate the quality of the sample. As is the case for DNA samples, a report is systematically compiled and forwarded to collaborators and the samples are normalized before transfer to the production teams in order to enable processing in a high-throughput format.
