<title>Biotherapies: the risk of immunogenicity associated with nanobodies</title>
				<link>https://www.cea.fr/drf/joliot/en/Pages/news/Science/2026/Biotherapies-immunogenicity-associated-with-nanobodies.aspx</link>
<description>Nanobodies, promising biotherapeutic agents, may trigger undesirable immune reactions. A team from SIMoS demonstrates, using a sensitive assay on human T lymphocytes, that this risk exists for certain nanobodies and can be reduced through sequence humanization. These findings highlight the importance of assessing immunogenicity alongside therapeutic efficacy.</description>

<title>Mass spectrometry for quality control of vaccines</title>
				<link>https://www.cea.fr/drf/joliot/en/Pages/news/Science/2018/spectrometry-quality-control-vaccines.aspx</link>
<description>A SPI Research Team (LI2D, Marcoule), in collaboration with CIRAD and AU-PANVAC, proposes a new quality control technique for veterinary vaccines, based on very high resolution mass spectrometry. This strategy, based on the use of an ad hoc database to measure the proportion of antigens and contaminants in the vaccine preparation, will improve the quality control of vaccines against contagious caprine pleuropneumonia.

<title>A new method for ultra-rapid isotope labeling of drugs</title>
				<link>https://www.cea.fr/drf/joliot/en/Pages/news/Science/2018/ultra-rapid-isotope-labeling.aspx</link>
<description>A SCBM Research Team, in collaboration with SHFJ, SIMOPRO and Karolinska Institute, has discovered a method inspired by the &quot;click&quot; chemistry which, from radioactive carbon dioxide, can synthesize in just five minutes radiolabeled molecules containing a cyclic urea moiety. This method has been used for the ultra-rapid isotope labeling of drugs, without modification of their structure and with an unequaled efficiency.
