The Iseult project magnet being installed at Neurospin (CEA Paris-Saclay) reached a nominal magnetic field of 11.7 teslas (T) on July 18, 2019. This is a world record for a whole-body magnetic resonance imager (MRI) magnet, the culmination of years of R&D, at the forefront of innovation in the field of superconducting magnets.

While the development of artificial intelligence depended until recently on software modules installed on centralized IT networks and servers (the Cloud), its future will also be shaped locally. The multiplication of connected objects (Internet of Things or IoT) requires a decentralization of artificial intelligence.
Novares unveiled its Nova Car 2 demo car to manufacturers on June 25. The car incorporates around fifteen patented innovations, two of which were developed by CEA Tech institutes.

Inspex is a mobile detection device that can be attached to a white cane to help visually impaired individuals locate obstacles more effectively, in three dimensions. The technologies developed for this project could find applications in many areas, including smart homes, drones and factories of the future.
