There will be five types of session during the nanoSAFE Digital Conference:

  • Plenary lectures will be presented live, with the opportunity to ask questions along the presentation via chat
  • Parallel voice-chat thematic sessions to discuss uploaded recorded oral presentations (3 min pitch + 5 min discussion per presentation)
  • Three plenary session with a selection of poster pitches (3 min pitch + 5 min discussion per presentation)
  • Two streamed live panel discussions
  • Exhibition providing the opportunity to interact with sponsors


    Plenary lectures will be presented live by the speakers. In case of technical issues during the course of the plenary session, the lecture will carry on via a telephone connection.   

     

    Oral presentations will be prerecorded and available through the conference private guest website (restricted access) on Tuesday November 10th. Attendees are invited to pre-view the lectures (12 min duration each) before the beginning of the sessions. Parallel voice-chat thematic sessions to discuss oral presentations with their presenters will be organized on November 17th, 18th and 19th. During the live sessions, speakers will present one summary slide of their work  and answer the questions raised by the audience during the open discussion at the end of their presentation.

     

    Posters will be in open access on the nanoSAFE 2020 website from November 2nd until the end of 2020. Conference attendees will have the possibility to ask questions and/or request additional information to the authors of the posters in a dedicated Q&A forum on the private guest website (restricted access).

    A vote for the best poster will be organized by Wednesday November 18th (conference attendees only). The selected top 10 posters will then be presented by their authors in a 3 min talk followed by a 5 min discussion in a devoted session on Friday, November 20th. The final best poster prize will be awarded at the end of this session by a second vote of the attendance.
