Working group on “Energy sufficiency”

CEA I-Tésé is part of the European Research Platform on Energy and Climate Law.

Founded by the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour (UPPA), Paris Dauphine-PSL University, the Maison Française d'Oxford, and the European Federation of Energy Law Associations (EFELA), this platform aims to be an institution of legal expertise linking research and practice in the field of energy and climate. It aims to analyze the guiding principles and mechanisms of the European Union's energy and climate policies through the lens of energy and climate justice concepts.

Several working groups make up this Platform: Nuclear, Legal Geography, Energy Justice, etc.

These working groups have three objectives:

Space for sharing: Establish an interdisciplinary research network that connects legal scholars in energy, climate, subsoil, and mobility law with researchers from other scientific disciplines, and promote structured exchanges on the interactions between law and these fields.

Space for reflection and production: Produce high-quality, interdisciplinary legal analyses; Link research and practice; Provide recommendations to policy makers and other stakeholders where relevant.

Opportunity for recognition: Provide opportunities for these researchers to promote and disseminate their work.

CEA I-Tésé is co-coordinator of a European interdisciplinary working group on energy sufficiency, launched on May 13, 2025.
