11/18 & 11/19 Virtual event
On November 18 and 19, the second RTO Innovation Summit will be held on the theme "Industrial Technologies for the Future". This event is organised by the group of the ten Leading European Research and Technology Organisations (RTO) including the CEA. Embracing the innovative essence of RTOs and given the sanitary conditions, it will take place virtually.
How can we foster and maintain Europe’s competitiveness, sustainability and technological leadership in the Digital Age? Which technologies will make the European Green Deal a success?
Through sessions taking place under three headlines – “The European Green Deal”, “A Europe Fit for the Digital Age” and “Industrial Competitiveness” – the ten RTOs will show concrete, technology-based solutions for the most pressing societal and economic challenges of the coming years.
In the accompanying digital exhibition, participants will have the opportunity to see and experience the outcome of applied research and innovation through interactive demonstrations. The long-standing, close relationship between RTOs and industry ensures the value, feasibility and economic viability of our solutions operating under real-life conditions.
CEA is a French government-funded technological research organisation in four main areas: low-carbon energies, defense and security, information technologies and health technologies. A prominent player in the European Research Area, it is involved in setting up collaborative projects with many partners around the world.
