Exhibition - 25th Anniversary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty

On the 25th anniversary of the opening for signature of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) on 24 september 1996, the CEA, in partnership with the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry for Armed Forces, offers an exhibition retracing France's commitment to the Treaty.

As an essential element of the international nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament regime, the CTBT prohibits all nuclear tests of any power in the atmosphere, underground or under the sea.
