Researchers at the Cancer Biology and Infection laboratory are interested in the study of soluble PCDH12 and of EG-VEGF, two key placental proteins that might be involved in the development of preeclampsia, the major pathology of pregnancy. Subsequent to their recent results, it is proposed that these two proteins could constitute potential new markers for the occurrence of this disease.
