Published on 30 January 2017
The Life sciences Division (DSV) is one of the 5 operational sectors of the CEA, along with the DEN (Nuclear Energy Division), CEA-Tech (Technological Research Division), the DSM (Physical Sciences Division)  and the DAM (Defense Division).

Scientific organization - the DSV institutes

The DSV consists of 8 research institutes.

To promote exchanges between its operational sectors in its strategic areas, the CEA has created 6 cross-cutting programs. Two of them are run by the DSV: "Health technologies" and "Toxicology".

Since 2005, the DSV has managed the CEA research center at Fontenay-aux-Roses.
