Zhangjiang Lab and the CEA are setting-up their collaboration and cooperation in the fields of Information Communications Technologies and Life Sciences.
On March, 14th 2018, Prof. Xi Wang, Director of Zhangjiang Lab, a Chinese state-owned leading research entity located in Shanghai, and Christophe Gégout, Deputy General Administrator of the CEA, the French alternative energies and atomic energy commission, have signed a comprehensive agreement for introducing a cooperation in the fields of Information Communications Technology and Life Sciences.
► "The collaboration is just the first step to the development of our exchanges and to the setting-up of specific joint projects in research areas which are of first importance for the research and innovation ecosystem of China and France", Prof. Xi Wang, Director of Zhangjiang Lab said. "We are really interested to collaborate with the CEA, a world-class innovation center that fosters a wide range of leading-edge researches on science and technologies"

The parties will initiate joint activities to improve either party's attractiveness and develop research and innovation activities based on their knowledge and experience, such as:
In addition, they will exchange their respective expertise on innovation and technology acceleration fields, to support the development of the innovation campus Zhangjiang Lab on the basis of the experience of Minatec-Giant innovation campus (Grenoble, France).
CEA is a French government-funded technological research organisation in four main areas: low-carbon energies, defense and security, information technologies and health technologies. A prominent player in the European Research Area, it is involved in setting up collaborative projects with many partners around the world.
