Dr. hab. , CEA Fellow - ​Scientific advisor of the department of Technologies of New​ Materials

After a PhD in collaboration with an industrial, Gérard Gebel has been recruited to work on membranes in 1989 in the CEA basic research division and he created a research group on Ion Conducting Polymers in 1996.

​H​e moved to the technological research division as scientific advisor of the department of new mateirals in 2014.

Research Activities​
Specialist of the structural study of ion conducting membranes for PEMFC fuel cells especilly by X-ray and neutron scattering and of operando studies of the water management in fuel cells.
