Arnaud MORIN

Dr. hab. , CEA Fellow​

Dr. Arnaud Morin a seasoned researcher and project manager with two decades of dedicated experience in the Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) field, holds an Engineer diploma and Master's degree from Grenoble INP, specializing in functional materials physics, earned in 2001.

In 2004, Dr. Arnaud Morin completed a Ph.D. in Physical-Chemistry at Montpellier University, focusing on the development of hybrid membranes for PEMFC operating at elevated temperatures (120°C).

He has co-authored approximately 60 peer-reviewed publications and holds credit for about 20 patents. Additionally, he has taken on roles as a coordinator or work package leader in numerous French, European, and industrial projects.

Furthermore, his collaborative efforts extend globally, encompassing partnerships with US national laboratories.​

Research Activities​

Development, electrochemical and physical chemical characterisations of components for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (catalyst, membrane, ionomer, gas diffusion layer).

Development of in-situ and Operando characterisations using X-Ray and Neutron (imaging, X-Ray and Neutron scattering).​
