Dr. Hab.
After earning an engineering degree from École Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Limoges (ENSIL) in 1999 and a PhD from INPG Grenoble in 2003, Cédric Ducros joined the CEA in Grenoble in 2003.
As a project manager at the CEA from 2003 to 2018, he conducted research on thin-film vacuum deposition processes for mechanical and, later, optical applications.
He joined the Printed Electronics Department in 2018, where he continued developing processes for flexible sensors and plastronic modules.
He was granted accreditation to supervise research (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches, or HDR) in 2023 and earned the titles of CEA Senior Expert and Research Director in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

- Deposition and shaping processes for printed electronics devices.
The pilot line installed at Envie 2E Aquitaine demonstrates the relevance of the abrasion solution developed by the CEA within the ITE INES.2S.
As part of its efforts to recover carbonaceous waste, CEA has been exploring an innovative conversion method for non-recycled plastics that uses hydrothermal gasification in supercritical conditions. Recent findings have improved our understanding of the degradation mechanisms acting on such plastics and have also paved the way for new possibilities in energy and chemical recovery.
