Louis GRENET
Dr. Hab.
Senior Expert
An expert in the growth and characterization of semiconductor materials for radiation detection, Louis Grenet researches inorganic and organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites for X-ray detection in medical and photovoltaic applications. He earned a PhD from Grenoble Alpes University In 2010. His dissertation focused on spin injection in semiconductors. After his PhD, he joined the CEA in Grenoble, where he stayed for a decade, investigating materials, mainly CIGS and CZTS, for thin-film photovoltaics. He was granted accreditation to supervise research (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches, or
HDR) at Grenoble Alpes University in 2016. Since 2020, his focus has been on the growth and characterization of perovskites for radiation detection.
