Researchers at our institute are studying the dynamics of acetylation and crotonylation of Lysine 27 on histone H3 (H3K27) during murine spermatogenesis. Their multi-omics analysis provides an unprecedented level of understanding of the regulation of gene expression by crotonylated H3K27 versus acetylated H3K27, and reveals both the synergistic and specific actions of each histone modification.
CEA is a French government-funded technological research organisation in four main areas: low-carbon energies, defense and security, information technologies and health technologies. A prominent player in the European Research Area, it is involved in setting up collaborative projects with many partners around the world.
