The CEA belongs to the Network of Excellence dedicated to research on prion diseases (NeuroPrion), which sponsors research into protecting human and animal health against prions and the associated diseases within the European Union. NeuroPrion’s primary objectives are to integrate the efforts of the major European prion research teams to minimise fragmentation and/or the duplication of research, and also to establish a sustainable approach to protect and improve human and animal health.
