Jean-Philippe POIROT
Dr. Hab.
Senior Expert
Jean-Philippe Poirot-Crouvezier has been conducting research on low-temperature PEMFCs since 1998. His early research focused on the development of models of stacks and systems for automotive applications. Later, he shifted to the design and analysis of PEMFC operation, investigating performance and durability from bipolar plate to system scale. As an expert and/or project manager, he has participated in more than 80 projects, including government-funded projects at the French and EU levels and projects with industrial partners. For example, he led the development of France's first automotive PEMFC (GENEPAC) in partnership with PSA Peugeot Citroën (now Stellantis). He supervises PhDs on topics around understanding PEMFC cell operation. He is the co-author of more than 30 articles and nearly 100 patents.
