Olivier RACCURT

Dr. Hab.

Senior Expert

Olivier Raccurt earned his PhD in materials science from the University of Aix-Marseille in 2004, and his accreditation to supervise research (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches, or HDR) at Grenoble Alpes University in 2015.

In his current capacity as CEA Senior Expert and Research Director, he heads a research group on lithium-ion battery durability and instrumentation for in situ and operando measurements.

He has also contributed to multiple national and international projects in WP manager and coordinator roles. He is the author of over 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals, has presented his work at over 110 international conferences, and is the inventor of 33 patents.

His current research focus is durability and ageing mechanisms in batteries for transportation applications.
