Jérôme analyse les données brutes recueillies par les satellites pour en extraire des informations cachées, utiles aux astrophysiciens et cosmologistes. Il a ainsi travaillé sur l’image du ciel produite par le satellite Planck pour faire ressortir la trace de la plus ancienne lumière émise dans l’Univers !

Des chercheurs de l’unité BioMaps implantés au SHFJ ont développé un protocole d’imagerie permettant d’étudier in vivo la capacité de transport hépatobiliaire responsable de l’élimination de nombreux médicaments et de mieux comprendre l’hépatotoxicité de certains médicaments.

With virtually zero background noise, the CUPID-Mo experiment at the Modane Underground Laboratory, in which the CEA-Irfu is participating, is setting a new non-detection limit for the hypothetical “neutrinoless double beta decay” (0νββ), which has never been observed. If it occurred, this detection would prove that neutrinos are their own antiparticles and would explain the predominance of matter over antimatter in the Universe.
Researchers from the BioMaps unit based at the SHFJ have developed an imaging protocol to study in vivo the hepatobiliary transport capacity responsible for the elimination of many drugs and to better understand the hepatotoxicity of certain drugs.
