Une étude dirigée par l’institut Pasteur et impliquant le CEA-Joliot a montré, sur un modèle murin, qu’une modification du microbiote intestinal provoquée par un stress chronique s’accompagne de modifications du métabolome qui induisent un défaut de la voie de signalisation des cannabinoïdes endogènes dans l’hippocampe, pouvant expliquer les troubles de l’humeur observés.
Scientific result
A study led by the Institut Pasteur and involving CEA-Joliot has shown, in a mouse model, that a modification of the intestinal microbiota caused by chronic stress is accompanied by modifications of the metabolome which induce a defect in the signaling pathway for endogenous cannabinoids in the hippocampus, which may explain the mood disorders observed.
