An international collaboration of climate researchers including the LSCE (CEA-CNRS-UVSQ) is using a model of the Earth System to determine the different regional contributions to global warming, as well as the individual factors that modify and amplify it, such as CO2 emissions, or, on the opposite, by temporarily attenuating it, such as aerosols. This model represents a valuable tool for implementing a responsible climate policy.

It allowed experimenting, monitoring and analysing the performance of new solutions for different construction methods, climates and lifestyles of the inhabitants.
