Une collaboration internationale impliquant le CEA-Irig a levé le voile sur une anomalie majeure observée dans le comportement des électrolytes soumis à une forte concentration. Les chercheurs ont identifié deux échelles d’organisation ionique, réconciliant théorie et expériences, et ouvrant la voie à la conception de nouveaux électrolytes performants aux applications technologiques nombreuses.

Researchers from CEA-Jacob and the Genome Integrity team at I2BC, in collaboration with Gustave Roussy and the Institut Pasteur, demonstrate that the Rap1 protein prevents the translocation of the Ku protein— a major factor in double-strand break repair — thereby avoiding deleterious fusions between chromosomes.
