In collaboration with the IECB in Bordeaux, a team from the CEA-Joliot has developed a molecule consisting of a hybrid of a peptide and an artificial polymer. This molecule is capable of inhibiting the action of a protein involved in cancers.
As part of an international collaboration, BIAM researchers have successfully produced 3D-printed microswimmers that can be guided by magnetic fields. Ultimately, these devices could be used within the human body for therapeutic purposes.

Des chercheurs de BioMaps (SHFJ) ont réussi à déterminer la dynamique d’interaction de la buprénorphine, un médicament opioïde à la pharmacologie particulièrement complexe, avec ses récepteurs cérébraux in vivo. Pour cela, ils ont développé une approche d’imagerie TEP originale basée sur l’utilisation de la molécule radiomarquée (11C-buprénorphine).

Researchers at BioMaps (SHFJ) have succeeded in determining the interaction dynamics of buprenorphine, an opioid drug with a particularly complex pharmacology, with its brain receptors in vivo. To do so, they developed an original PET imaging approach based on the use of the radiolabeled molecule (11C-buprenorphine).

The microbial composition and metabolome of the intestinal microbiota of an animal model for COVID-19 were altered over the disease course and remained so after the resolution of lung infection. Those results, which will contribute were brought to light by the Institut Pasteur in Lille in partnership with IDMIT (CEA-Jacob).
