Des chercheurs de MIRCen (CEA-Jacob) en collaboration avec le SHFJ (CEA-Joliot) ont analysé la réponse neuroinflammatoire d’une cohorte de patients atteints par la maladie de Parkinson en la corrélant à la progression de la maladie.
Scientific result
Researchers from MIRCen (CEA-Jacob) teamed with the Frédéric Joliot Medical Imaging Center (SHFJ; CEA-Joliot) and the Henri-Mondor and Saint-Anne Hospitals to analyze neuroinflammatory response in a cohort of patients with Parkinson's disease and reported a correlation between it and disease progression. Their study, published in Parkinsonism & Related Disorders, sets a path toward the use of a radiotracer, [¹⁸F]-DPA714, for the evaluation of anti-inflammatories pertinent to the treatment of Parkinson's disease.

Papers at IEDM 2020 Explore Ways to Leverage 3D Technology's Strengths For Lowering Device Energy Consumption and Energy Lost in Data Transmission. CEA-Leti presented two papers this week at IEDM 2020 that confirm the advantages of combining 3D architectures and resistive-random-access-memories (RRAM) for in-memory computing (IMC), and their applications for Edge-AI and neural networks. The projects were designed to look at different ways to leverage 3D's strengths in lowering device energy consumption as well as energy lost during data transfer.
