  • Nanomaterials manufacturers
  • Companies that integrate nanomaterials into their products in all industries, including: transportation, construction, chemicals, metallurgy, microelectronics, and aeronautics
  • Waste recovery, sorting, and treatment companies
  • Environmental and health monitoring organizations

Nanoparticles can be naturally-occurring or produced by human activity. Today, nanoparticles are also being integrated into materials. CEA Tech began addressing nanosafety long before there were any laws or regulations on the issue. The purpose of this work is to mitigate nanoparticle exposure, whether it concerns workers, consumers, or the environment.
CEA Tech researchers address the entire product lifecycle, from materials synthesis to product use (nanoparticle release testing) to end-of-lifecycle recycling. Production is also a key focus area, with the goal of making production processes safer and developing better individual and collective protective equipment. CEA Tech’s nanosafety R&D promotes responsible, smart use of nanoproducts in people’s day-to-day lives.
