CEA Tech Showroom reaches out to manufacturing companies

The CEA Tech mobile showroom has been touring France for the past two years, making stops in regions with strong manufacturing bases.

CEA Tech's Grenoble Showroom opened its doors in 2011. The 400 sq. m exhibit space offers up dozens of models that illustrate how CEA Tech technologies and systems work. The purpose of the showroom is to bring the latest CEA Tech advances to manufacturing companies to stimulate creative thinking, spark new ideas, or come up with new uses for the innovations on display.

The Grenoble showroom proved to be very popular—so popular that CEA Tech created a mobile version two years ago. The travelling exhibit—easy to transport by truck, set up, and dismantle—has been touring France, stopping in regions with strong manufacturing bases and setting up shop at trade shows. Its modular design (from 20 sq. m to 150 sq. m) adapts to suit a variety of situations. The full version has enough space for 30 technology demonstrators developed by CEA Tech institutes Leti, List, and Liten and built with help from design professionals.

CEA Tech is using the showroom to reach out to potential industrial R&D partners across France. The next stop on the tour was here in Grenoble for Semicon Europa 2016, the world's leading microelectronics industry event, in October.
