Leveraging its own cell technology, battery manufacturer Prollion collaborates with its customers to develop industrial battery systems made to operate at the highest level of excellence.
The company draws upon research conducted in partnership with Liten to innovate battery materials like lithium-iron phosphate (LFP), ideal for applications requiring high safety performance, and NMC silicon, delivering state-of-the-art energy densities (250 Wh/kg)
The company works in project mode, developing customized systems from beginning to end, and optimizing each component of every system. Prollion cells and battery systems meet the strictest safety requirements and performance/weight/volume ratio constraints. They are built to withstand operation in even the harshest environments, resisting pressure, shocks, vibrations, extreme temperatures, and explosive atmospheres.
Prollion targets the most technologically exacting industries: aerospace, defense, security, submarines, the naval sector and, more generally, any mobile or stationary application that requires excellent performance in demanding environments. The startup is involved in several large-scale projects with industry leaders (Airbus Group, Volvo Trucks, Breitling). Founded in 2009, Prollion is a joint venture between the tech company Alcen and CEA Investissement.
