The complex path to Open Science: challenges and opportunities

From 11/27/2023 to 11/27/2023
NeuroSpin amphitheater + Zoom

Jean-François Mangin – UMR Baobab / NeuroSpin - gave a talk.

Short abstract:

Open Science fosters research integrity and results replicability, potentially saving money with data re-analysis. However, many obstacles and practical issues hinder the move towards open science. In this seminar, we will showcase how GDPR makes it complicated to design, share, and use clinical human MRI data, and we will describe the fast changes happening in open-access publications.
This seminar is intended to trigger a conversation with the audience about these arguments of general interest. We strongly suggest to participate in person.
