The molecular labeling and bio-organic chemistry unit (SCBM) brings together about fifty people including around twenty doctoral and post-doctoral students. The research focuses on the following themes: isotopic labeling, bioactive molecules, new tools for biology, nanosciences.
All these research uses unique expertise common to all researchers of the service: organic chemistry. This research requires, in most cases, a multidisciplinary approach carried out in close collaboration with academic and industrial partners.
The Laboratory of Excellence in Research on Medication and Innovative Therapeutics (LERMIT).
The Laboratory of Excellence in Chemistry of Multifunctional Molecular Architectures and of Materials (CHARM3AT).
SCBM is coordinator of a new FET-Open project,FLIX(start January 2020). Contact:Sophie Feuillastre, project coordinator
CEA is a French government-funded technological research organisation in four main areas: low-carbon energies, defense and security, information technologies and health technologies.
