Security of Hardware & Security by Hardware! CEA-Leti is raising the security level of dedicated components and optimizing their usage for securing complex systems.
Security in a smarter connected world
Last year, the French government tasked the CEA with coordinating an avant-garde research program ("Recherche à Risque” program funded by France 2030 to the tune of €40 million for 2024) in collaboration with all its academic partners. The "Audace!” program aims to stimulate researchers’ creativity by empowering them to boldly explore new avenues and imagine tomorrow’s disruptive innovations. As part of this program led by the Technological Research Department (DRT), CEA-Leti and its partners are tackling one of the major challenges facing digital technology: hardware cybersecurity.
Valeo, the key technology partner of mobility players, and the CEA, Europe's most innovative research organization, have announced a 4-year collaboration to anticipate future technological advances and encourage exchanges within the French and European research ecosystems.
TRNGs play a pivotal role in domains such as cybersecurity and cryptography, where they are used to generate unpredictable random numbers such as cryptographic keys that ensure confidentiality and integrity of corporate, institutional and citizen private data against potential hackers.
The European InSecTT project focuses on the security of embedded AI. As a partner in this three-year project, CEA-Leti developed innovative solutions to authenticate intelligent systems and protect them from various cyberattacks. These advances coincide with the promulgation of the European AI Act.
CEA and Schneider Electric, the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, have agreed to extend their joint laboratory collaboration for three more years. The shared objective is to continue to test and fortify the security of world-leading process-and-energy technologies for greater resilience across industries.
