The future of imaging
With more than 30 years of experience, Leti is well-equipped to offer innovative technological solutions for imaging (sensors, cameras, systems) in a vast range of areas, from leisure to the space industry.

Today, there is a growing number of image sensors present in our daily lives, used for numerous societal and industrial purposes. To keep up with these demands, developing innovative imagers has been necessary. As a result, transportation has been made safer, the resolution of X-ray images has increased while radiation exposure has been reduced, hyperspectral cameras have been put aboard drones in precision agriculture practices, which are more respectful of the environment, miniaturized three-dimensional imagers have been developed for industrial robots, and augmented reality glasses have been invented.

Leti's imaging platform is able to fulfill these demands thanks to the combined skills and resources of more than 30 laboratories, covering the entire imaging chain, from single components to entire final systems.

As such, Leti has been able to develop the complete imaging solutions of the future, covering the entire electromagnetic spectrum: infrared sensors with III-V and II-VI materials, monolithic image sensors (compatible with silicon, detects infrared and terahertz waves), visible light CMOS image sensors, and X-ray and gamma ray detectors.
