The thrice-yearly (January, May, September) journal L'Édition of Université Paris-Saclay presents news and events in science, learning and innovation from Paris-Saclay University. In such sections as Teaching & Learning, Science Outreach, Research, Business & Innovation, Campus Life, Seen from Abroad, or Agenda, the journal provides a detailed panorama of the structures and strengths of its members for academic training, scientific research and innovation creation.
The most recent edition (#15), published in early February, presents an article on stem cell research in the setting of human health entitled "Cutting-edge stem cell research." Two teams contributed to the article :
- Michèle Martin and Nicolas Fortunel from the Genomics and Radiobiology of Keratinopoiesis Laboratory (LGRK, IRCM) presented their work on human adult skin stem cells and their involvement in the treatment and study of monogenic diseases¹.
- Jean-Philippe Deslys and Frank Yates from the partnered SEPIA/Sup'Biotech lab discussed their development of cerebral organoids for research on neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease².

About the governance of Paris-Saclay University :
As of 1 January 2020, Paris-Saclay University replaces Paris-XI-SUD University and the community of universities and institutions "Université Paris-Saclay", and integrates, as component-institutions the Paris Institute of Technology for Life, Food and Environmental Sciences (AgroParisTech), CentraleSupélec, the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay and the Institut d'Optique Graduate School. It also integrates the Institut des hautes études scientifiques, a recognized non-profit research organization.
Paris-Saclay University includes the Universities of Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and Évry-Val-d'Essonne as member-associated universities by convention. They participate in its governance within the perspective of a merger in or around 2025. The CEA, CNRS, INRAE, Inria, Inserm and ONERA confirm their strengthened partnership with the new university.
The scientific perimeter integrates the laboratories of these national research organizations located within the perimeter of Paris-Saclay University, listed by convention. The national research organizations are involved in the governance of the university.
